Bearing shops leaking time and money

Pillow blocks, inserts, and seals. A bore that looks the same until the housing and the seal do not. A rebuild account reorders until the machine is back. I build a custom intelligent system for that shop.

Sound familiar?

  • A mill reorders the same pillow block until the rebuild is done, then the account goes quiet.

  • An insert with the seal you stock is still in the carton, and you reorder the open version of that bore.

  • A housing gets quoted from the last insert, and the last buy of the sealed one does not match.

How I find it

  1. Sales history by housing, insert, and seal, not only by bore.

  2. Purchases, including the carton that arrived for one rebuild.

  3. Your accounting system, where the quote and the invoice for that bore can be set side by side.

What the system does

It watches bearing sales and purchases 24/7. It pings you when a rebuild account orders less, when a housing isn’t moving, or when the quote and the last buy stop lining up. It never takes action on its own. You decide.

SampleThe usual pillow block for that bore is still quoted from the open insert. The sealed insert you last bought does not match that quote.

You decide

You choose the call, the reorder, and the quote. Nothing is bought and nothing is quoted until you say so.

Questions

What does a bearing leak look like?

A quiet rebuild account, a housing that isn’t moving, or a quote that still uses the last insert instead of the one you just bought.

Does it place the order?

No. It pings you. It never takes action on its own. You decide.
